Practical AI training for Coventry and Warwickshire teams, at your premises or live online. Hands-on, straight-talking, built around your real work.
The Oxford AI School runs AI training for businesses across Coventry, Warwick and Leamington Spa, a little over an hour from our Oxfordshire base. Sessions are hands-on from the first ten minutes, taught in plain English, and built around the tools your team already has: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity.
Coventry and Warwickshire have spent two decades rebuilding around engineering, mobility research and games development, and that has left an unusual mix: highly technical businesses next door to traditional manufacturers and family firms. Both come to us for the same reason. The work that clogs up their week is written, repetitive and exactly what AI handles well.
We train automotive and advanced manufacturing suppliers around Ansty and Whitley, games and digital studios in Leamington Spa, professional and property firms in Warwick and Kenilworth, and owner-managed businesses across Nuneaton, Rugby and Bedworth. Most attendees save 10 or more hours per person every week once AI becomes part of how they work.
We deliver in person across Coventry and Warwickshire, and live online for teams working across sites.
Every Coventry session is hands-on and tailored to your work. This is the kind of thing your team walks out able to do.
We teach the tools you already have and are candid about where each one is strongest, including where the free tier is enough.
The general-purpose starting point. Projects, custom instructions, file analysis and the habits that keep it honest.
The best option for long documents, tenders and careful drafting.
The easiest approved route in a Microsoft 365 business. Copilot in Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
For Google Workspace teams, plus image and video generation for marketing.
Research with citations, for supplier comparisons, market checks and tender background.
These are the skills that separate teams getting real value from AI from teams who tried it once and gave up.
Prompt engineering means giving the tool four things: a role, a task, the context it cannot guess, and the format you want back. That is the whole trick. We teach it in the first half hour, then spend the rest of the session using it on the quotes, reports and emails your team actually has to produce.
By the end of the day your Coventry team has a small library of prompts that genuinely work, written down and shared, so the quality of the output stops depending on who happens to be doing the task.
Context management is the skill that keeps AI useful past week one. What you load into a conversation, what you keep out, when to start again, and how you keep the specifications, terms and templates a tool works from up to date. For engineering and manufacturing businesses, working from a superseded revision is exactly the error you cannot afford.
Your staff are already using AI. The only question is whether they are doing it inside rules you have written down.
Manufacturing and engineering firms hold customer drawings, specifications and commercial terms. Once staff start pasting those into consumer AI tools, you have an intellectual property problem rather than a training problem.
The AI Policy Workshop is a full day for up to ten people, in Coventry or online. It produces your own written AI acceptable use policy: approved tools, permitted uses, the UK GDPR data red line, rules by department and named gatekeepers for anything new.
We also cover the governance side that boards and clients increasingly ask about: risk management, record-keeping, and how you would demonstrate that an AI-assisted decision was checked by a person. Our guides to AI governance, trustworthy AI and the NIST AI RMF and compliance, auditing and explainability set out the approach in full.
We shape the examples to your sector, because a tier-one supplier and a games studio work nothing alike.
For suppliers and engineering businesses around Ansty, Whitley and the wider Coventry supply chain.
For studios and digital businesses in Leamington Spa and Coventry needing the commercial side to keep up.
For practices and owner-managed businesses across Warwick, Kenilworth, Rugby and Nuneaton.
