Your last patient has left. The paperwork hasn鈥檛.
There is the job you trained for, and there is running a dental practice. Chasing missing information. Rewriting the same patient email. Explaining a treatment already explained three times. Getting the new receptionist up to speed while the phone rings. We build the session around that second job, so your team has more room for the first.
Four practical modules, built around your work
Module 01
Patient communications that sound human
Turn clinician-approved explanations into clear patient information for different reading levels.
Draft appointment, recall and missed-appointment messages for your team to check.
Build replies to common questions about joining the practice, fees and payment options.
Prepare sensitive complaint acknowledgements with a named person responsible for the response.
Module 02
Reception and practice operations
Create reception checklists for new patient enquiries and handovers.
Turn your existing procedures into practical induction materials for new starters.
Draft supplier enquiries and compare non-clinical quotes against your own criteria.
Build reusable prompts that follow your practice鈥檚 tone and approved information.
Module 03
Management information you can use
Summarise anonymised enquiry volumes, cancellations and recall activity.
Turn an approved spreadsheet into questions for your next practice meeting.
Draft meeting agendas, action lists and ownership of outstanding jobs.
Separate a useful pattern from a conclusion the numbers cannot support.
Module 04
Grow the practice you want to run
Plan service pages around the questions prospective patients actually ask.
Draft local content that explains the practice鈥檚 approach without promising outcomes.
Create an editorial plan for newsletters, FAQs and social posts.
Write review requests and referral communications that your team can use consistently.

Start with the email your reception team keeps rewriting.
Take a fictional enquiry from a nervous new patient asking about their first visit. Give AI your approved practice information, a clear tone and a list of things it must not invent. Draft the reply, check every detail, and save the brief. Now you have the start of a repeatable workflow, rather than another clever demo. No patient record needed.
For a practice owner, the useful measures are time spent on repeated enquiries, the number of drafts needing a complete rewrite, and whether agreed follow-ups happen. We help you choose a baseline before you buy more software.
Standards before shortcuts
Keep clinical judgement in the surgery.
This is practical business AI training for dental teams. We use fictional or appropriately anonymised examples, not identifiable patient records. AI drafts need human review. It should not invent treatment advice, make diagnoses or approve consent information. We discuss your approved tools and data boundaries before anyone starts uploading files.
We work with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, choosing what fits the task and your approved environment. We agree priorities beforehand, practise together and leave you with reusable materials. Tool subscriptions and any integration work are discussed separately.
10 minutes. No commitment. We鈥檒l talk through your reception workload, management priorities and practice growth plans, then shape the training around them.
Is this AI training suitable for a dental practice owner?
Yes. It is designed for owners, principals, practice managers and the team members who handle communications, operations and marketing. We start with the work that slows your practice down.
Will you teach AI diagnosis or dental treatment planning?
No. This session covers business workflows around dental care. Diagnosis, treatment planning, consent and clinical decisions remain with qualified professionals.
Can reception staff attend alongside dentists?
Yes. A mixed group can be useful because the same patient journey touches reception, management and clinicians. We agree priorities before the session so everyone has relevant work to practise.
Can we use patient information during the training?
Use fictional or appropriately anonymised examples. Identifiable patient information should not be uploaded as a workshop exercise. We discuss approved tools, access and review arrangements before working with any sensitive material.
Cost, format and booking
How much does AI training for dentists cost?
The half-day programme is 拢2,299 +VAT for up to eight people, delivered live online or in person. Takeaway materials and 30 days of follow-up are included. Tell us your location and requirements when you enquire so the full arrangements can be confirmed.
Do we need to know how to use ChatGPT or Claude already?
No. We start with the tools and the briefing habits you need for the agreed tasks. You practise on examples relevant to your team and learn to check the result. No coding is required for the half-day sector session.
Can you deliver the training at our premises?
Yes. We are based in Witney, Oxfordshire and deliver in person across the UK, or live online. We agree the location, practical arrangements and session priorities before booking.
What is the next step after the half-day?
Choose a deeper module based on the work you want to improve. Options include AI policy, winning business, GEO and the Claude Code pathway. Advanced Claude Code requires the introductory module or equivalent experience; Building Agents requires the advanced foundations.
How do we book a session?
Book a free 10-minute intro call through Get In Touch, or email Learn@TheOxfordAISchool.com. We discuss your team, the tasks you want to improve and the right training before confirming a date.
