The renewal date is fixed. The paperwork keeps moving.

You are still waiting for a schedule, the client has changed a detail and someone needs to turn a long email trail into a clear next step. Meanwhile, the new business pipeline needs attention. This session is built around the broker鈥檚 working day: less time pulling information together, more time asking the questions that matter.

Four practical modules, built around your work

Module 01

Renewal preparation and information gathering

  • Turn your own renewal process into a reusable preparation checklist.
  • Draft requests for missing client information using approved wording.
  • Organise an anonymised case history into a timeline for the account team.
  • Flag inconsistencies and open questions for an experienced broker to investigate.
Module 02

Client explanations and correspondence

  • Draft clear covering emails for documents your team has already approved.
  • Turn supplied wording into an explanation with source references for broker review.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and action notes for client reviews.
  • Build templates that distinguish confirmed facts from matters awaiting clarification.
Module 03

Operations, handovers and quality checks

  • Create account handover structures with outstanding actions clearly labelled.
  • Draft internal process notes and induction materials from approved procedures.
  • Use anonymised management information to prepare operational questions.
  • Build a review checklist for AI-assisted work before it reaches a client.
Module 04

New business and relationship development

  • Research public information about a prospect before a human conversation.
  • Draft sector-specific outreach without assuming a business鈥檚 cover needs.
  • Create useful renewal preparation guides and educational website FAQs.
  • Plan referral partner communications and follow-ups around your actual proposition.

A real working habit

Make the missing information visible before the last minute.

Start with a fictional commercial renewal file and your own checklist. Ask AI to map the information supplied, quote where it found each item and list what is missing. A broker verifies the result, then uses it to draft the next information request. The exercise improves preparation; it does not decide suitability or whether a risk is covered.

Track preparation time per renewal, outstanding information at agreed checkpoints and the number of drafts returned for correction. Those measures help an owner decide whether the workflow earns its place.

Standards before shortcuts

Useful support for the broker. Clear ownership of the advice.

AI should not independently determine cover, recommend a product, settle a claim or certify a communication as compliant. Policy wording, exclusions and client circumstances need qualified human review. We agree rules for personal information, claims details and confidential commercial data before practical work begins. Training does not replace your compliance process or professional advice.

We work with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, choosing what fits the task and your approved environment. We agree priorities beforehand, practise together and leave you with reusable materials. Tool subscriptions and any integration work are discussed separately.

Questions, answered

AI training for insurance: FAQs.

About AI training for insurance

Who is this insurance AI training designed for?

Insurance broker owners, agency directors, account executives and operations teams. The main focus is the administration, communication and development work around an insurance business.

Can AI compare policies and tell us which cover to recommend?

AI may help organise supplied documents and identify questions, but it can miss material differences. Coverage interpretation, suitability and recommendations require your qualified team and established checks.

Does this training make our use of AI compliant?

No course can certify every use case as compliant. We help your team establish practical working habits and information boundaries; your own responsible people must approve tools, processes and client-facing work.

Can claims handlers join the session?

Yes, for agreed administrative workflows such as timelines, correspondence drafts and handovers. The session does not delegate claim decisions, settlement authority or coverage decisions to AI.

Cost, format and booking

How much does AI training for insurance cost?

The half-day programme is 拢2,299 +VAT for up to eight people, delivered live online or in person. Takeaway materials and 30 days of follow-up are included. Tell us your location and requirements when you enquire so the full arrangements can be confirmed.

Do we need to know how to use ChatGPT or Claude already?

No. We start with the tools and the briefing habits you need for the agreed tasks. You practise on examples relevant to your team and learn to check the result. No coding is required for the half-day sector session.

Can you deliver the training at our premises?

Yes. We are based in Witney, Oxfordshire and deliver in person across the UK, or live online. We agree the location, practical arrangements and session priorities before booking.

What is the next step after the half-day?

Choose a deeper module based on the work you want to improve. Options include AI policy, winning business, GEO and the Claude Code pathway. Advanced Claude Code requires the introductory module or equivalent experience; Building Agents requires the advanced foundations.
