The fee was agreed months ago. The brief has moved twice. There is a tender response due on Friday and a client who would quite like “a quick update”. Architecture practices do not need another software demonstration. They need a sensible way to get the surrounding work done without quietly giving away more of the fee.

Four practical modules, built around your work

Module 01

From scattered notes to a usable brief

  • Organise approved client notes into objectives, constraints and open questions.
  • Build a briefing checklist that surfaces missing information before work starts.
  • Compare two versions of a written brief and flag changes for a person to verify.
  • Draft a meeting record with decisions, owners and unresolved points kept separate.
Module 02

Fee proposals and winning the right work

  • Turn your scope into a clear first draft of a fee proposal.
  • Describe deliverables, exclusions and assumptions without burying them in jargon.
  • Build bid outlines using your verified project experience and the buyer’s criteria.
  • Prepare interview questions and pitch narratives that explain why your practice fits.
Module 03

Project communications and coordination

  • Draft progress updates from an agreed project record.
  • Turn meeting notes into action lists organised by owner and due date.
  • Prepare requests for missing information and follow-up correspondence.
  • Create consistent templates for internal handovers and consultant briefing notes.
Module 04

Practice knowledge and visibility

  • Turn approved project material into case studies with the right permissions.
  • Build a searchable structure for your own lessons learned and reusable copy.
  • Draft service pages around the projects and clients you want to attract.
  • Create useful articles that explain your process to clients before the first call.

A real working habit

A changed brief should not disappear into an email chain.

Use two fictional versions of a client brief. Ask AI to identify changed requirements, quote the source passages and list what needs clarification. Check the comparison yourself, then draft a client email setting out the questions. The result is a clearer conversation about scope. Any fee or programme decision is still yours.

Track the time it takes to prepare a checked proposal, the number of unresolved briefing questions and the effort spent turning project records into client updates. Those are useful starting points for a director watching fee recovery.

Standards before shortcuts

A convincing paragraph is not technical verification.

We do not present a chatbot as a route to verified planning advice, Building Regulations compliance, structural design or coordinated drawings. Technical statements need checking against authoritative sources by the responsible professional. Client drawings, site information and confidential project material need agreed permissions and approved tools. Visual concepts, if used, must be labelled as concepts.

We work with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, choosing what fits the task and your approved environment. We agree priorities beforehand, practise together and leave you with reusable materials. Tool subscriptions and any integration work are discussed separately.

Questions, answered

AI training for architects: FAQs.

About AI training for architects

Is this an AI course for architects or a visualisation workshop?

It is a practical business AI course for architecture practices. The focus is briefs, fees, bids, project communications and practice knowledge. It is not a specialist rendering, CAD or BIM software course.

Can you tailor the session to a small architecture practice?

Yes. A small studio may need fee proposals and client updates first. A larger practice may prioritise bid preparation, handovers and consistent ways of using its knowledge. We agree the brief with you.

Will AI check planning policy or Building Regulations for us?

AI can help organise questions or summarise supplied material, but its output is not technical verification. Your responsible professionals must check relevant requirements and sources.

Can we bring live project documents?

Discuss them with us first. Fictional, public or appropriately anonymised material is the best starting point. Confidential client documents and drawings need permission and an approved environment.

Cost, format and booking

How much does AI training for architects cost?

The half-day programme is £2,299 +VAT for up to eight people, delivered live online or in person. Takeaway materials and 30 days of follow-up are included. Tell us your location and requirements when you enquire so the full arrangements can be confirmed.

Do we need to know how to use ChatGPT or Claude already?

No. We start with the tools and the briefing habits you need for the agreed tasks. You practise on examples relevant to your team and learn to check the result. No coding is required for the half-day sector session.

Can you deliver the training at our premises?

Yes. We are based in Witney, Oxfordshire and deliver in person across the UK, or live online. We agree the location, practical arrangements and session priorities before booking.

What is the next step after the half-day?

Choose a deeper module based on the work you want to improve. Options include AI policy, winning business, GEO and the Claude Code pathway. Advanced Claude Code requires the introductory module or equivalent experience; Building Agents requires the advanced foundations.
