AI for Business
Practical, hands-on AI training for small businesses, SMEs and teams across the UK. Plain English, real work done on the day, and hours handed back every week.
What AI training actually does for a small business
Most small businesses do not need a lecture on artificial intelligence. They need to get the quote out, answer the email, chase the invoice and still be home for dinner. That is what we train your team to do faster, using the tools you already pay for.
Content & copywriting
Website pages, proposals, social posts and newsletters drafted in minutes, then edited to sound like you rather than a robot.
Data & reporting
Turn a messy spreadsheet into a clear summary, spot the trend, and get the number your accountant keeps asking for.
Customer communications
Faster replies, better quotes, and follow-ups that actually go out, without losing the personal touch that wins the work.
Admin & scheduling
The small, repeated jobs that eat a Tuesday morning, handed to AI so your people do the work only they can do.
Research & intelligence
Check a supplier, size up a competitor, or get up to speed on a new sector before the meeting, not after it.
Process automation
Build a simple routine that runs a job for you every week. This is where the hours saved start to compound.
Why small businesses fall behind on AI
It is rarely the technology. The tools are cheap and the free tiers are good. What holds a small business back is time, and the quiet worry of getting it wrong in front of a customer.
Owners hear that AI matters, open ChatGPT once, get a bland paragraph back, and decide it is not for them. Teams share logins, use it for the odd email, and never learn the two or three moves that change everything. Meanwhile the business down the road quietly cuts its admin in half. The gap does not announce itself. It just widens.
A good course closes that gap in an afternoon. Not with theory, but with your own work on the screen, your own quotes and emails and reports, done faster while you watch. That is the whole idea behind how we teach.
What your team learns
Our AI training for small businesses is built around the AI Basics Deep Dive: half a day of theory and practice, one proper break, and real work already done by the time you leave. Here is how the time is spent.
What AI really is, and where it lets you down
A clear, jargon-free picture of what today's tools do brilliantly and, just as important, where they get things confidently wrong. You leave able to trust AI on the right jobs and check it on the rest.
- What AI is genuinely good at, in plain terms
- Where it slips up, and how to spot it
- The jobs on your desk it is built for
The five tools, side by side
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, compared honestly. What each one is actually best at, what the free tiers really give you, and a simple rule for which one to open when.
- The real strengths behind the marketing
- Free tiers versus what is worth paying for
- A cheat sheet for choosing the right tool
Prompting that actually works: the CRAFT method
The one formula worth memorising. You write real prompts for real tasks from your own week and watch the quality jump in front of you. No theory, just a method you keep.
- Context, Role, Aim, Format, Tone
- A reusable prompt kit you take away
- Turning a vague ask into a sharp result
Build a Claude Project and run Cowork
You upload a real file, create a Project with your own knowledge and instructions, and let AI produce a finished, formatted document. You watch it land, correctly named, where it belongs.
- Set up a Project around your own work
- Produce a finished document, not a first draft
- See the output arrive ready to use
Skills, Connections and staying safe
Automate a job you do every week, connect a tool to your own data, and agree the simple rules that keep sensitive information out of trouble. This is where the hours you save start to add up.
- Build a Skill that runs a routine job for you
- Add a safe Connection and see the controls
- Which tiers keep your data out of training
What you walk away with
Not notes you will never reread. Actual things you can use on Monday morning.
A finished piece of work
A real document, quote or report, produced in the session using your own information, ready to send.
A reusable prompt kit
The CRAFT method and a set of prompts built around your business, so quality is repeatable, not luck.
One automated job
A routine task set up to run for you, plus the simple rules that keep your data safe while it does.
Who it is for
This training suits owner-operators who wear every hat, small teams of up to eight who want to move together, and departments inside larger SMEs who are tired of waiting for a policy from head office. No technical background is needed and none is assumed. If your team can use email, they can do this.
We train marketing teams, finance and operations people, sales teams, and the founder who is still doing all three. The tools are the same. What changes is the examples we use, which come from your world, not a textbook.
How the training runs
The core format is a half-day AI Basics Deep Dive for up to eight people, at £1,499 +VAT online or £1,599 +VAT in person, anywhere in the UK. A one-hour introductory session for individuals starts at £199 +VAT. For larger teams or a specific brief, we build a custom programme around your tools and your goals.
Sessions are hands-on from the first ten minutes. We come to you, or we run it live online, whichever gets your people learning with the least disruption. You bring real work. We do it together. Everyone leaves using AI, not just having heard about it.
