The summary

What is an AI website, and what do you get for £2,999?

An AI website is a business website planned, coded and optimised with AI tools like Claude, then published on a fast host like Netlify. For £2,999 +VAT, Harry Lang of The Oxford AI School builds yours in one day, optimised for Google and for AI answers in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini, then trains you to run it.

Most small business websites were built for a world that has already moved on. Your customers still use Google, but more and more of them now ask an AI assistant who to call, who to hire and what to buy. If your site is slow, thin or confusing to a machine, you are not in that answer. Nobody tells you. The phone just rings less.

This is the fix, done for you. You send the words, the logo and the photos. I turn them into a fast, properly structured site that search engines and AI models can read, understand and trust, and I put it live the same day. By teatime you have a website, the keys to it and an hour of training on how to change it yourself.

Prefer to learn the craft and build it with your own team? That is what our half-day module, How To Build The Perfect Website With AI, is for.

What's included

What makes it one of the best AI websites for a UK business?

Four things, built in from the first line of code rather than bolted on afterwards. Each one is measurable, so you can check the work yourself.

Found on Google

Search-ready titles, descriptions and headings

Every page gets a keyword-led title, a meta description written to be clicked, and a clean H1 to H4 structure Google can follow.

Local and UK search signals

Your business name, address and service areas set out consistently, so you turn up for the towns and counties you actually work in.

Sitemap, canonical tags and Search Console

The plumbing most sites forget, done properly so Google indexes the right pages, fast.

Found by AI search

Answer-first pages

Clear, quotable answers near the top of each page, written the way people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini their questions.

Schema markup, tested

Structured data for your organisation, services, FAQs and breadcrumbs, validated in Google's Rich Results Test before launch.

AI crawlers let in

Robots rules and a crawlable build that let the AI bots read your site, rather than JavaScript-heavy templates that hide it from them.

Built to win enquiries

One clear next step per page

Call, book or enquire. Every page points at one obvious action, so visitors know what to do before they get bored.

Fast on a phone

Built mobile first and scored at 95%+ on Google Lighthouse for performance, accessibility, best practice and SEO.

Your brand, done properly

Your logo, colours and photography carried through every page, so the site looks like you rather than a template everyone else bought.

Yours to run

Valid, hand-checked code

Clean HTML with no page builder bloat and no plugins to patch, validated before it goes live.

Hosted on Netlify

Secure HTTPS hosting that is free for most small sites, with new versions live in seconds.

One hour of handover training

At the end of the build day I show you how to update words, swap images and publish changes yourself. No retainer required.

How it works

How do you build a business website with AI in one day?

You do the thinking before the day. I do the building on it. Here is how the build day runs, from your brief to a live site.

01

Before the day: your brief, copy and images

Your part In advance

A short intro call, then you send everything I need to build without waiting on anyone.

  • A short brief: who your customers are and what you want them to do
  • Your copy for each page, rough is fine
  • Your logo and your product or service images
  • Your domain name, or we pick one together
02

Plan the site and sharpen the copy

Build day Morning

The structure that stops a website turning into a maze, and words that work for people and machines.

  • Site map and page list agreed against your goals
  • Your copy edited for clarity, keywords and quotable answers
  • Page titles, descriptions and headings written
03

Design and build the pages

Build day Late morning

Built with Claude, to your brand, mobile first.

  • Layout, colours and typography matched to your logo and brand
  • Your images optimised so they load fast and still look sharp
  • Calls to action, contact forms and click-to-call set up
Lunch, and a first look at your new site
04

Optimise for Google and AI search

Build day Afternoon

The bit that gets you found, and the bit most web builds skip.

  • Schema markup for your organisation, services, FAQs and breadcrumbs
  • FAQ content shaped around the questions customers ask AI
  • Sitemap, canonical tags, robots rules and Search Console set up
05

Test, go live and hand over

Build day Late afternoon

Checked against measurable standards, published on Netlify, and the keys handed to you.

  • Google Lighthouse at 95%+, HTML validated, schema tested
  • Checked on phone, tablet and desktop
  • Published on Netlify at your own domain
  • One hour of training so you can update it yourself

What the numbers say

Daily impressions inside Google's AI answers went from around 130 a day at the start of October to roughly 1,700 a day by the end of it. Ordinary Google impressions followed the same curve, reaching around 7,000 a day.

Google now shows the site for full, conversational questions of the kind people type into ChatGPT, such as:

  • How does a company get recommended as a provider in ChatGPT's answers?
  • Who delivers on-site AI training in Leeds for business teams of 10 or more?
  • What's the best way to see if ChatGPT recommends my products over competitors?

In fairness, the site has grown well beyond its first day. It now carries 300+ rich content pages written to capture search and AI demand, and that took rather longer than a day. What the one-day build gave it was the foundation: fast, clean, crawlable code, proper structure and schema on every page. Your build day gives you the same foundation.

Five-star client reviews of The Oxford AI School on Trustpilot and Google: 'Just what is needed if you feel AI is galloping just ahead of you', 'Highly recommended for any teams wishing to harness the power of AI' and 'A perfectly pitched AI education for early stagers'.
Who it's for

Who should get an AI-built website?

Any UK business that needs a proper website and would rather not spend three months and five figures getting one. It suits owners who have been meaning to sort the website out for a year, and those whose current site looks fine but never seems to bring anyone in.

Two ways to get it

Should I have it built for me, or learn to build it myself?

Same tools, same standards. The only question is whether you want the website or the skill.

Questions

AI websites for UK business, answered.

The questions business owners ask most before they book a build day.

What is an AI-built website?

An AI-built website is a site planned, written, coded and optimised with AI tools such as Claude, then published on a fast host such as Netlify. A human still makes every decision. AI does the heavy lifting on structure, code, metadata and schema, which is why a proper business site can go live in one day rather than several weeks.

How much does an AI website cost in the UK?

Our done-for-you AI website costs £2,999 +VAT, fixed. That covers the one-day build, optimisation of your copy, SEO and GEO set-up, schema, testing, going live on Netlify and one hour of handover training. Running costs are usually just your domain name, typically £10 to £20 a year, because Netlify hosts small sites free.

Can you really build a business website in one day?

Yes, because the slow parts are done before the day starts. You send your copy, logo, product images and a short brief in advance. On the build day Harry plans the site map, builds the pages, optimises everything for Google and AI search, tests it and puts it live, then spends the last hour training you to run it.

What do I need to provide?

Your copy, your logo and your product or service images, plus a short brief on who your customers are and what you want them to do. You write the words because nobody knows your business better. Harry then edits and optimises that copy for Google and for AI search engines.

Will my website show up in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini?

Nobody can honestly guarantee what an AI model says. What we can do is build your site so those models can find it, understand it and trust it: clean crawlable code, clear answers near the top of each page, structured data, consistent facts about your business and robots rules that let the AI crawlers in. That is the foundation AI citations are built on. To go deeper on the discipline, see our Intro to GEO module.

What does a 95%+ Lighthouse score mean?

Lighthouse is Google's free audit tool. It scores a page out of 100 for performance, accessibility, best practice and SEO. We build to 95 or above across those scores, alongside valid HTML and schema checked in Google's Rich Results Test, so the site is fast, accessible and easy for search engines to read.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The site, the code, the domain and the hosting are yours. There is no agency lock-in and no monthly platform fee. The one hour of Netlify training at the end of the build day means you can change a word, add a page or publish an update yourself.

Do you build websites across the UK?

Yes. The Oxford AI School is based in Witney, Oxfordshire, and builds AI websites for small and medium-sized businesses across the UK.

Can I learn to build my own website with AI instead?

Yes. Our half-day module, How To Build The Perfect Website With AI, teaches your team to plan, write, design, optimise and publish a website with Claude and Netlify. Choose the module if you want the skill, and the done-for-you build if you want the website.

Why is this cheaper than a traditional web agency?

Because AI removes most of the slow, billable hours: hand-coding, wrangling templates and endless rounds of small changes. You pay for one expert day of building and optimising, not weeks of project management, and you avoid an ongoing retainer because you can update the site yourself.
